Divisions

Recreational Division
This division provides youth with the fundamentals of the game. Each team will have 1 one-hour weeknight practice per week and age appropriate match competition on Saturdays.  As with all the PYAA sports, we can only be successful with adults as volunteers to coach and help assist a team.  So please consider this rewarding position when registering your child.  Division grades are based on grade Fall of 2019 school session.  1st through 3rd graders compete in one league, 4th and 5th graders in one league, 6th - 7th graders in one league, and 8th-12th graders complete the leagues. The grades in each of these leagues might change based on registration numbers and number of coaches.  The cost for the season covers team T-shirt, team tennis balls, tournament trophies/awards, site fees, and PYAA administration fees (registration, organization insurance, program and site development fees).

1/2/3 Recreational League
1st, 2nd & 3rd graders participate in this intructional league that emphasizes development of ground strokes, volleys, and serves. Players play live points with coaches feeding the ball to begin games of doubles.
